Dear followers, today we set out from La Junta in the rain and arrived in the rain after 47 km to Puyuhuapi. By now, the rain has become a sweet travel companion.
Because of the rain, we’ve had to rethink our elegant uniforms a bit, adding plastic shopping bags on our feet and heads.
Along the way, we were surrounded by lush vegetation, with a stunning landscape adorned by numerous waterfalls.
In Puyuhuapi, we were greeted by quite a few dogs. They have gentle, sweet eyes, although every now and then, they seem to pick on one of our group, Antonio. We still haven’t figured out why!
Puyuhuapi is a charming little village in the Aysén region, filled with wooden cabañas and small gardens.
We’re now close to the legendary TRAPANANDA!
Today for lunch, we had pasta with Chilean ragù, lovingly prepared by Sebastián, our incredible Chilean driver.
